At Walters Construction we take great pride in our excellent craftsmanship, communication with owners, and the ability to deliver outstanding results. Since Ken Walters founded this company in 1992, we’ve worked hard towards building and maintaining a stellar reputation as a leading Bozeman General Contractor Company.
Our Team.
Ken has been building homes in the Gallatin Valley and Big Sky area for over 30 years. Since 1992, Ken has built a variety of homes starting off in entry level homes to progressing to high end custom homes and a mix of everything in between. Ken has experience with a wide variety of styles ranging from traditional, modern and southern, to homes with a rustic Montana flair.

Ken attributes his success and enduring reputation to a strong belief in quality over quantity. His philosophy is that the unseen in the construction process is just as important as the finished product.

Ken Walters believes that it is very important that buyers expectations are met and exceeded throughout the building process from the planning phase to when he hands them the keys at closing. His past client’s attribute achieving the perfect home to Ken’s excellent communication skills and attention to detail through the construction process from start to finish. Garrett grew up helping his father as a young kid assisting where he could on his dad's construction sites. Often picking up trash, carrying lumber and doing everything else that was needed. It was here that he developed his passion and love for construction at a young age.
That passion only continued when he went to Montana State University earning his Bachelors of Science in Construction Engineering Technology with Honors and certification as an Associate Constructor from the American Institute of Constructors.

After graduating, Garrett then went on to be an Officer in the United States Marine Corps serving in Okinawa, Japan. Once he completed his contract Garrett returned to the family business once again helping his father.

Garrett continues to keep the values and philosophy of his father. Paying close attention to the fine details in every aspect of the project, and ensuring that every owner has a great experience and their expectations are exceeded with true craftsmanship and professionalism.
